The Problem: Your computer tower fans are spinning, and lights are on, but the monitor is black and says "No Signal."
The Short Answer: The monitor is working, but it isn't receiving video data. This is usually due to loose RAM sticks or a loose graphics card.
Quick Fixes
Method 1: Reseat RAM (Most Likely)
If you moved your PC recently, the RAM sticks might have wiggled slightly loose.
- Turn off PC and unplug it.
- Open the side panel.
- Push down the tabs on your RAM sticks to release them.
- Take them out, then push them back in until you hear a loud CLICK.
- Try turning it on.

Are you plugged into the motherboard or the graphics card?
- If you have a dedicated GPU, you must plug the HDMI into the GPU (the lower horizontal slots).
- If you plug it into the top vertical slot (motherboard), it might be disabled.
Method 3: Reset BIOS (CMOS)
Clear the motherboard settings.
- Unplug PC.
- Locate the small silver coin battery on the motherboard.
- Remove it for 5 minutes.
- Put it back in and turn on.
